Desktop app
A download queue that stays in one window.
OmniDownload is a Mac app for saving media from a web address. You paste a URL. The app queues the download. You can see speed, what finished, and what failed, and you can pause and come back.
The problem
A download should not take over the machine.
People were leaving a browser tab, a separate downloader, and a folder of half-finished files. The app keeps that in one place: paste, queue, and a clear empty state when nothing is running.
What shipped
Queue, pause, resume.
The window has Downloads, Queue, History, Categories, Settings, and Licence. Filters cover active, queued, paused, completed, and failed. A download can be paused and resumed. The screenshot shows the honest empty state, before a file is added.
